LMGD is in close cooperation with foreign and national universities and academic institutions, as well as with numerous local foundations engaged in the preservation of linguistic diversity. Correspondingly, LMGD organizes occasional events for the dissemination and disclosure of the results of its numerous research projects that are ended or in-progress.

Prof. Angela Ralli presented the results of the research project on the historical, social, and linguistic situation of the Asia Minor town Moschonisia (Cunda), at the Conference room of Diakidios Scholi, in Patras. The same presentation took place in Athens (Estia Neas Smyrnis).
LMGD had the honour to publish the book by Leneta Strani entitled "Stu ampelione tsi furkades i o gamos paei amonte". The book has been written in the dialect of Zante, and its presentation took place at the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Zante.
Upon completion of the research program "From the dialect of Old Athenian to the dialect of Megara", a workshop was organized for the dissemination of results, at the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Megara.
The Linguistics division of the Department of Philology and LMGD had the honour to grant to Paul Kiparsky (Stanford University) an Honorary Doctorate.
The LMGD activities, along with those of other five laboratories of the University of Patras, were presented at the Thessaloniki International Fair.
Prof. A. Ralli gave a talk in Patras, at Diakidios Scholi, on the LMGD activities, namely, the collection of dialectal data and the importance of the preservation of the cultural heritage.
