Laboratory of Modern Greek Dialects

The Laboratory of Modern Greek Dialects was founded in 2000 and since then has acquired a rich experience in the study of dialects.

The Laboratory is under the direction of Prof. Angela Ralli and the laboratory team consists of linguists who are department staff, post-doctoral candidates, Ph.D. candidates and postgraduate students.

It is located at the Department of Philology (Building 33) and equipped with hi-tech equipment, and various collections of rare written sources necessary for the scientific study of dialects.
